Dyno Correction Factors

Compare SAE-style J607 and J1349 power corrections.

Method & assumptions

Use absolute station pressure from a weather station. A weather app’s sea-level pressure is not station pressure. Results describe the air at the entered conditions; they do not predict an engine tune. Approximate naturally aspirated spark-ignition correction only. J607 uses 1013.25 hPa dry pressure and 60°F; J1349-style uses 990 hPa and 25°C. These estimates are not a certified SAE dyno calculation and are unsuitable for automatically correcting boost-controlled engines.
